About the speaker:
Mary Cheyne, award-winning speaker and founder of Magnetic Podium, an organization that uses public speaking medium to help individuals uncover the roadblocks that prevent them from reaching their highest potential. Mary began her career in software development and later discovered she had a passion for training. She has trained corporate clients in a wide range of industries including banking, airlines and recruiting during her 15+ years of experience.
Mary has been a speaker on multiple occasions for the ASTD (American Society of Training and Development, New England) where she trained other professional trainers. Mary has a passion for the youth community. She has been a presenter at the Youth At Risk (YAR) conference, Gibbs College in Boston and tought public speaking classes to youth 8-15 years of age at the Everbright School in New Jersey.
Mary's public speaking prowess have earned her several awards such as second place in the 2009 Toastmaster's International World Championship of Public Speaking.
